Rain, fog, dusk on the highway, tailgate down with a load — that's when rear-end hits happen. A full-width LED bar at bumper height puts your brake signal exactly where following drivers are already looking. They react sooner. Your truck stays out of the body shop.

You've read the reviews on the fancy "sequential" bars: the brake light comes on a beat late, the turn signal skips its first flash. Ours is wired plain and direct — full red the instant your pedal moves, amber the instant you signal.
Running light with your headlights. Full-brightness red on the brakes. Amber blink on the turn signal. White when you reverse. It reads your truck's own signals — nothing to press, nothing to remember.

Peel the 3M backing, press it under your tailgate lip, plug the harness into the flat 4-pin trailer connector you already have. Brake, running and turn are done in ten minutes — nothing gets cut. The white reverse light takes one extra wire to your reverse lamp: a quick-splice connector, colours labelled in the box.
No 4-pin plug behind your bumper? Tacomas without the tow package sometimes don't have one. Email us your year and trim before ordering and we'll tell you straight whether it's a simple adapter or not the right product for your truck.
If it doesn't go on as easily as we just said — send it back, we refund everything including your return shipping.

Every truck owner has heard "those bars never last a year." Sealed silicone jacket, potted circuit, inline fuse — rain, snow, road salt, the pressure washer at the truck stop.
And if it ever does die inside 12 months — a dead LED, a dead side, a dead turn signal — that's our problem: we ship you a new bar free. You don't even mail the old one back.

The number one complaint on the cheap bars: the brake light comes out orange and the turn signal comes out yellow. Ours are real red LEDs for brake and running, real amber for turn, real white for reverse — the colours the driver behind you expects.
The photos on this page show the exact bar you receive, on a Tacoma. What you see is what ships.
Three steps. No tools. No mechanic. Stuck? Email us a photo — we walk you through it the same day.
Wipe the tailgate lip with alcohol, peel the 3M backing, press the bar on straight and hold 30 seconds. Mount it warm — the tape won't bond below about 50°F. Backup clips in the box.
Run the flat cable along the bed rail to your trailer connector. Reverse wire goes to the reverse lamp. Clips included.
Click into the 4-pin plug. Tap the brakes, hit the blinker — you're done. The red wire stays out of the plug: reverse lamp or skip it. Turn signal looks dim with the headlights on? Normal on the trailer circuit, not a fault.
Same five complaints, over and over — on Amazon, eBay and every truck forum. Here's what owners keep saying, and what we did about each one.
Seven months in and most of the amber LEDs are dead. Third bar in two years.
What we did: sealed ends, potted circuit, inline fuse — and a 12-month replacement where you keep the old bar. If it dies, it dies on us.
One car wash and there's water inside the strip.
What we did: silicone jacket over a fully potted board. Rain, snow, salt and the truck-stop pressure washer are fine.
One of the wires wasn't connected to the plug — bad part?
What we did: told you here, and on a card in the box. That loose red wire is the reverse light; a 4-pin plug has no reverse signal, so it connects to your reverse lamp instead — or you skip it and the bar still runs red and amber.
Amazon said 60 inch. My Tacoma tailgate is 55, and it hung over the edge.
What we did: one 48" bar sized for the Tacoma tailgate, sold only for 2000–2023 Tacoma. Wrong fit? Keep it, we refund you.
The brake light comes on a beat late and the turn signal skips its first flash.
What we did: no sequential animation, no controller. Wired plain and direct — full red the instant your pedal moves.
Looks cheap in the box compared to the video. With my headlights on the turn signal looks dim — is it broken?
What we did: put real photos of the bar in the box, unlit, on this page — what you see is what ships. On the trailer circuit brake and turn share a wire per side, so with running lights on the turn side blinks against the red; every bar on every brand does this. A whole dark section is different: email a photo, we replace it.
Half the bars I see on the road are half dead and look cheap.
What we did: rigid aluminum housing, real red and real amber LEDs — the colours the driver behind you expects, not yellow-orange.

This bar is designed for Toyota Tacoma 2000–2023 only. It mounts under the tailgate lip and plugs into the flat 4-pin trailer connector. It does not fit RAM, Ford, Chevy, GMC, Nissan or other brands.
Not sure? Email us your Tacoma's year and trim before ordering — we answer within 24 hours. Wrong fit? Keep it, we refund you. A fitment mistake never costs you a dime.
No — this bar is built for Toyota Tacoma 2000–2023 only. If you drive another brand, this isn't the right product for your truck. Order it anyway and it doesn't fit? We still take it back — full refund, shipping on us.
Not for brake, running or turn — the harness plugs into the flat 4-pin trailer connector behind your bumper. The white reverse light takes one extra wire (the loose red one) to your reverse lamp with a quick-splice connector; no cutting into factory wiring. Skip it and the bar still runs red and amber normally.
On 2000–2023 Tacoma there's no trailer-detection module on the 4-pin circuit — nothing changes on your dash. If your truck ever shows a trailer notice, email us your year and trim and we'll tell you straight.
No. Hyperflash happens when you swap your factory bulbs for LEDs. This bar adds to your lighting — it doesn't replace any bulb — so your flasher sees the same load it always did.
Yes. Red LEDs for running and brake, amber for turn, white for reverse. If yours arrives any other colour, it's a free replacement.
It supplements your factory lights — it doesn't replace or cover them — and uses the standard colours: red brake, amber turn, white reverse. Auxiliary lighting rules vary by state, so check your local regulations.
No. On the trailer circuit, brake and turn share one wire per side, so with running lights on the bar sits at running brightness and the turn side blinks against it. Every brand of tailgate bar behaves this way on this circuit. If a whole section stays dark or nothing lights at all, that's different — email us a photo and we replace it.
Tacomas without the factory tow package sometimes have no 4-pin connector. Email us your year and trim before ordering — we'll tell you honestly whether it's a simple adapter or not the right product for your truck.
No. The 4th-gen body changed the tailgate, spare-tire access and trailer wiring, and we haven't confirmed a clean fit. We'd rather not sell it to you than take it back.
Either one is our problem, not yours. It's genuine 3M VHB tape rated for automotive exteriors, plus backup mounting clips in the box. If the tape lets go, a single LED dies, or a turn signal stops working any time in 12 months, we ship you a brand-new bar free. You don't mail the old one back, you don't pay a cent.
Wrong fit? Keep it, we refund you. Don't like it? 30 days, we pay the return label. Fails inside 12 months? We ship a new one, you keep the old bar — no return, no forms. The only way you lose money on this order is if you love it and keep it.
Sealed silicone jacket and inline fuse — rain, snow, salt and the truck-stop pressure washer are fine. One honest note: like any bumper-height light, heavy snow packed on the bumper will cover it until you brush it off.
Email us a photo of where you are — we walk you through it the same day. Every email is answered within 24 hours, by a person.
Free tracked shipping on every order. You get a tracking number as soon as it leaves.
Every risk is ours: fits or it's free · dies in 12 months, replaced free · 30-day money back, return shipping paid
